what are you guys gonna do with 9 strikers ?

I see Dzeko signed for around 40 mill euros and he's on 220K a week yet he's unproven in the EPL

You guys make some pretty weird decisions

There a new version of Chelsea, but instead of stockpiling midfielders, there stockpiling strikers.

I could understand if he was good, but 10 goals in the Boxhead League so far this year.

Spurs have 2 midfielders that have already scored 10 goals and they are proven EPL players and we paid about 4 and 8 mill respectively.

I get that they are trying to buy a premiership, but I reckon they are just throwing money away atm.

Wait, remind me again what is bad about 10 goals in 17 games? You're probably bitter because he won't be playing for the Rossoneri pensioners.

The Rossenari pensioners already have enough strikers, they dont need 9. They just signed Cassano for a lot less.

I just dont see what all the fuss is about with Dzeko and the money they paid for him, he's a good striker but not worth that much money imo.

Again shows that the Bundesliga is not know for its defensive capabilities.

Like I said, unproven in the EPL.

Wtf?? 9 strikers??
Good buy but a damn strange decision unless they release a few of those strikers; Spurs (or rather I) would gladly take Edabayor off them, no point for them to have him if he never plays.

Who are these 9 strikers?

Ade and RSC will be on their way out.

Our useable strikers are:
Tevez
Jo
Balotelli
Dzeko

Jo is a bit crap, really. The only guys I would feel confident leading City's line are Tevez, Balotelli and maybe Dzeko (want to see what he can do in the Premiership first).

I agree, but Bobby seems comfortable playing Jo on the left.

So 4 strikers, not 9 like the above goose says.

Dzeko will make wonderboy Andy Carroll look pedestrian. He is made for the PL.

I was exaggerating goose

what about your players out on loan

what was the point in signing Bellamy ?

You guys will be in a bit of strife when the new rules come in regarding wages

It was a Mark Hughes signing. Mark Hughes made a lot of bad signings (Bellamy, RSC, Jo, Bridge, Robinho, Barry, Lescott and even Given seems to be a bad one with how well Hart is developing).

"Mark Hughes' signings" wouldn't be as bad as they are if Mancini didn't sign : Both Toure's, Silva, Balotelli, Boateng and now Dzeko.

All of Hughes' signings (albeit Robinho) are proven and experienced EPL players, who if left the time to gel could have formed a potent and formidable side imo. Can hardly say the same for Mancini's.

I doubt Robinho was a Hughes signing. That was the new owners.

Other signings were made before the new owners so its a bit unfair to compare. When he signed RSC they could not afford Dzeko etc.

Bellamy is a lot better than Milner at playing that forward position.

Mancinis signings won't form a good team as they all want to leave.

Er, we signed Roque for 18m (count em) in the same window we signed Adebayor, Tevez, Kolo, Barry, and Lescott. So it wasn't a money issue.

Is it a coincidence that we have been operating with the exact same defensive players this season as we did at the beginning of last (with the exception of a handful of games to Boateng and Kolarov), yet are now the best defense in the league?

Which of the following Mancini signings have stated they want to leave? Vieria? Johnson? Yaya Toure? Asian Dave Silva? Kolarov? Boateng? Balotelli?

Anyone who says that Clueless Hughes was doing a good job and/or is a better manager than Mancini needs to give the game away.
