A lot of support out there for Owen, from both sides of the divide. That's nice to see, if you can get his head right he is a brilliant player, better than what you have in defensive mid anyway.

He actually was good on the wing, but City don't lay that kind of winger, he will probably be the best fullback at the club to be honest. Better than Richards anyway.

His knee is fine. He always trained well until Friday afternoon, then would feel something. Its his head that needed fixing. Probably a bit worried about going out there and getting another injury. His last for United was a hamstring i think. Just knocked his confidence completely. Still fair enough of him trying again in the prem. I had him down for a return to Canada, maybe with Vancouver in the MLS or something.

he's broken and past his use by date and Sandro is only 21 and was brilliant in CL last season, I know who I'd prefer

The same midfield that DIDN'T get you into the CL last season is about to not get you in it again. Good pushing on skills shown by Levy. Now all Harry has to do is talk Modric into playing for you. He failed on Monday, suceeded on Sunday. Looking at the results he may not want to bother in future...

Not announced Owen yet, probably doing a 8 hour medical to make sure. He is more than likely going to be on a pay as you play contract.
