They are second in the league so they are a good team. They are a bit naive when it comes to Europe and Mancini should of put a team out like he did in the league last year. De Jong to start next to Barry, and let the top 4 do what they do. Ageuro to start left, Silva middle, Milner right. Dzeko up top. Keep it tight.
Or they could just give up of course. Well done.
As for the rest. If me posting rumours that make the British press on an Australian website is a problem to you then tough, I don't know what coverage potential rumours get over in Aus. I just report (some of) them.
RE: Rooney and bandwagon jumping (really? You are actually going there??) etc, we ain't going into that on the City thread, its derailed enough. If you want to discuss it take it to the general or United thread.
I said they may as well have given up because they had no chance anyway, they were exposed for how "good" they really are, it's easy to dominate in the EPL when you have a far deeper and stronger squad than anyone else, that doesn't matter in the CL when their are other teams with similar financial power.
Take Madrid for example, they have achieved nothing at the highest level in nearly a decade despite spending countless millions of euros on "developing the squad".
Your original point was a comparison between Bayern and Stoke. So are Stoke playing regular CL football, winning various competitions and dismantling Manchester City? You still haven't provided a tangible reason to justify your comparison.
I brought up the media because during the transfer windows you claim that players are signing with different clubs with an arrogant tone. The Aussie media isn't great either, it is just like any media. The point is that believing any media article relating to football transfer windows is foolhardy.
Why wouldn't I bring up Rooney?
