Get a fckn grip aye.

I had written down a couple of lines about how we still have a quarter of the season to go but got rid of it.

He just knows the inevitable is coming. They have probably the hardest run of any of the top 6-7 teams and with David Silva looking out of form these days it's looking like they may have to wait another year to get one over United.

That poor bastard is never going to live that down. If I were him, I'd be claiming a beloved family member just died, and I was only wearing the AC Milan... er... City shirt because I lost a bet.

His partnership with Kun was brilliant.

If he does stick around for next year, then stopping Silva, Nasri, Yaya, Kun and Tevez will be very difficult. Throw in the signing of a winger like Hazard, and it will be devestating.

Of course they won't win the league.

They'll jump out to another big lead, be crowned November champions and then:

Yaya will go to AFCON.
Nasri will remember how much of a bitch he is and disappear for the rest of the season.
Silva will get tired and will drop form for three months.
Tevez will cry about the new flavour of the month striker the club has brought in and will leave again.
And Aguero will continue to beat up on the midtable teams and relegation fodder.

I might get lambasted for saying this but I've hoped since City and United broke from the rest of the league that City would win it. I'm sick of pathetic bandwagoner Unitards being arrogant twats to every other football fan, it's one of the more sickening aspects of watching the EPL.
At least if City win my Facebook page won't be crowded with "Glory Glory ManUnited" messages written by kids who think "Rooney" has five extra "o's" and whom also blindly talk about being red devils when they can't spell "Sir Alex".

Mind you though, Jason Maher and most of the United fans on here are good fans; it's also sad that the real fans are often allotted into the same crowd as the glory-hunters.

Bloody hell... your team just put themselves in the box seat to win a first title for 44 years, and not a solitary peep. Come on chaps, where's the fire in the belly?! :p

Maybe the City Fans dont want to go the early crow but I think they proved today they are the best team in the EPL.
Sure they can stuff it up but it would be a shame if they did.

Can anyone answer why City Fans sing Hey Jude?
I know why Blue Moon is sung but I always hear Hey jude.
Are they substituting someones name?
Love the song especially when the crowd sings along but not following City I often wondered why they sing it.
Thought they may break out in Dont Look Back in Anger given Liams always at their games.(maybe they do).

If City do win the title they will have Yaya Toure to thank, what a player. This is the exact type of player Utd are missing, their midfield is just limp.

I also thought Zabaleta had a great match.

United were terrible though. A poor approach and in the end it told with not even a single chance created, nor a shot on target.

How good is he. Don't think I've ever seen a player win as many contests for the ball as he does, it makes such an amazing difference in a tight contest.

Most important player at City, imo.

If I had a dollar for every person who reckons they follow Manure because their father/ uncle/ grandfather did or their father/ uncle/ grandfather/ bloke who cut their grandfathers' hair came from Manchester, I could afford to buy the club off the Glazers' tomorrow and pay off all the debt!

I must have been the only nutter who woke up at 4:45 to watch this, and I'm an Everton fan

Was a top match, largely because Man U were so hopelessly outclassed. Even when they announced 5 mins of Sir Alex time (must have been a massive injury that went unnoticed given no goals were scored in the 2nd half :sarcasm:) it was never in doubt.

Could have easily been 3 or 4 to nil if City had taken all their chances as well. Missed an absolute sitter around the 85th minute when the ball dropped as Nasri's feet inside the 6 yard box but he tried to play it onto his left foot instead of just tapping it in.

Man U unlikely to win the EPL and Barca unable to win the Champions league.... bad year for the bandwagoners

My father, grandfather, great grandfather, great great grandfather, and great great great grandfather all followed United (or Newton Heath LYR in the case of the last bloke), as do all my uncles, aunts, cousins, second cousins, and 5th cousins twice removed.

True story.

aww didums.

Who do you support and why if you want to get all judgemental?

There are hardly any city fans in Manchester so i don't know why there would be any in an Aussie forum. Maybe there numbers will grow when they start winning things.

Actually no, crowds only go up for successful teams when its United. No other team has bandwagon jumpers at all....
