Who kicks goals on that team Craig? And BMoz is out Game 1. Jason, no way they drop Hoffman. Your only wtf selections is Creagh and Jack Bird. Still better than the Cordner and Buhrer days lol

yeah could be a reason to have maloney in instead of reynolds.

if bmoz is out i'd have tupou in. i'd be open to dugan at 6 and moylan 1 if moylan has a barnstormer in the city country, he needs to be tested at a higher level than club

Ryan Hoffman will be one of the first picked, I think he will start and Lewis will come off the bench.

Yes, Hoffman was an oversight.

I'm dead serious about Jack Bird. Whatever people think Luke Brooks' potential is, Bird's is double. Easing him into Origin as a bench back rower rather than dumping all the pressure on him as yet another halves initiate on a hiding to nothing against Thurston and Cronk is the way to go. The benefit will be if he continues playing in the halves, to the point he becomes the obvious 5/8 choice, he will already have Origin experience under his belt.

Not a bad idea at all. He seems like the kind of guy who would absolutely thrive in a big-game situation like that. Bit of ego at that level is probably a good thing.

Joel-22, I think Jamal may be a liability in that side. Pretty difficult to defend with crutches...

1. Dugan
2. Johnston
3. Morris
4. Jennings
5. Tupou
6.
7. Hodkinson
8. Gallen
9. Peats (will be farah though)
10. Woods
11. Scott
12. Hoffman
13. Bird

14. Lewis
15. Merrin
16. Fifita
17. Tolman

Hodkinson only there due to incumbency, he done a passable job last year and no other halfback is playing good enough to replace him
no 5-8th because im expecting someone to put there hands up amd show good form to get themselves picked, maybe Bird atm
Dugan at fullback because his big and strong and defensively sound. Most of the forwards pick themselves. If scott or gallen are injured Klemmer onto the bench and reshuffle the pack

Need Moylan to ball play. Lord Dugan can't do that

There won't be any ball play. Gallen and his boofheads will tuck it under their arms and hit it up. This is why Dugan is a certainty. He fits this style of play perfectly.

Trouble is, with Hayne gone, I don't know who will do all the last ditch tackling as Thurston and Cronk send wave after wave of attack our way. Dugan?

The best thing that can happen is that NSW receive the mother of all drubbings in all three games, and we get a decent coach next year who has a team playing Rugby League and not WWE wrestling.

You would think that if mugs like us can see that, why can't so called rugby league experts?

Seriously we won last year because of hayne. We could have picked mccrone and anasta in the halves for all the good that hodkinson and Reynolds did. Without Haynes ball playing we have nothing. If we had better halves id be all for Dugan cause he can play. But moylan is needed to make up for whatever rubbish we have at 6 & 7.

Not really sure it matters what sort of form your in these days if you play for a sydney based club, unless your absolutely smashing down the door you don't get a look in if your from out of town

James McManus really broke the door down last year like he has in previous years along with Gidley. Or maybe Laurie just has it in for his old club and wont pick your players?

Could it be possible that mostly Sydney based players get picked because Sydney clubs make up for half the comp?

Josh Dugan, TLL and Blake ferguson say hi

Clearly if Alan tounge played for parramatta he would have played 73 origins.
