Well he's the current captain, not to mention one of the blues better performers over the last few years, you'd think he'd be there

Joel Thompson's playing some good footy and has that mongrel about him. I think that they need to find a spot for him.

Tedesco's not up to it yet, B. Moz is out for the whole series too isn't he? And Pearce is the worst Origin halfback of all time.

Well I've had a bit of a think about it. I'm assuming all the blokes in the Australian team are auto picks, as well as Hokko and Lord High King-Emperor Gal. I'm also assuming Josh Reynolds playing for City means he could be left out, and thus I'm clinging to that forlorn hope and leaving him out. I'm also assuming BMoz won't be fit. Correct me if I'm wrong on that.

1. His Duganess
2. Alex Johnston
3. Josh Morris
4. Michael Jennings
5. Josh Mansour
6. Aidan Sezer
7. Trent Hodkinson
13. Paul Gallen (c)
12. Greg Bird
11. Luke Lewis
10. Aaron Woods
9. Robbie Farah
8. James Tamou

14. Trent Merrin
15. David Klemmer
16. Ben Creagh
17. Jack Bird

Why Sezer? Because he's good, he's in good form, he appears to have a calmness that many of our halves in recent times have lacked, he's not Josh Reynolds, and he is an ace goalkicker. Reality is it will be Keary, Pearce, or Maloney if not Reynolds, but a man can dream.

Why Bird the Younger? Because barring injury, he will be a 10 year player for us and dominate. He can play almost anywhere, so a bench spot as a back rower and cover for the backs seems the ideal way to ease him into the Origin cauldron.

Why Josh Mansour? Because Tupou was shit last year, and has been in shit form this year. Mansour seems the best of the available options. Could possibly stick Dylan Walker on the wing instead. Also Umina Panther doesn't rate him, which is a huge tick for him in my book.

David Simmons>Mansour this was proven today in a big way.

Also all the NSW halves are shit so Moylan needs to play even if i don't think he's ready.

Who kicks goals on that team Craig? And BMoz is out Game 1. Jason, no way they drop Hoffman. Your only wtf selections is Creagh and Jack Bird. Still better than the Cordner and Buhrer days lol

You would leave out a guy like Fifita and would include someone like Ben fuucking Creagh!?

Anyone that leaves out Andrew Fifita is fuucking crazy. Name me one prop for NSW in the last 5 years who's been as dominant as Fifita was in the series he played.

Knew I was forgetting someone. Serves the merkin right for playing for Melbourne for so long.

Creagh absolutely deserves a spot. Has got better with age.

Settle down young padawan. Fifita merely slipped my mind. The real question is why Tamou is in the Australian team ahead of him.
