Ferguson might be a super douche but he's a better centre then JMoz

Josh Morris has consistently stopped Inglis like no other centre for NSW has been able too. If fit he will be right centre and his brother will be on one wing regardless of whether they play those positions for the Bulldogs

I reckon people are kidding themselves if they think Daley will make any major changes unless forced too by injury, suspension or major loss of form. Can't be bothered listing a team but it will be almost a copy of last year but probably have The Dugan at FB. Ferg will only get in the team at the expense of Tupou.

I reckon Daley should go in with a 30 man squad and really make them compete

Fullbacks: Matt Moylan, Josh Dugan, Brett Stewart
Wingers/Centres: Brett Morris, Josh Morris, Michael Jennings, Josh Mansour, Daniel Tupou, Dylan Walker
Halves: Trent Hodkinson, Josh Reynolds, Mitchell Pearce, Jamie Soward, Adam Reynolds
Front Rowers: Paul Gallen, Aaron Woods, Andrew Fifita, David Klemmer, Paul Vaughan
Hookers: Robbie Farah, Nathan Peats, Michael Ennis
Back Rowers: Greg Bird, Ryan Hoffman, Beau Scott, Anthony Watmough, Boyd Cordner, Luke Lewis, Trent Merrin, Wade Graham

Josh Reynolds makes it on incumbence, Michael Ennis because there are no other hookers, Josh Mansour, Dylan Walker, David Klemmer and Paul Vaughan are all bolters for mine. Gallen needs to play front row as there isn't much depth in terms of talent, but there is great depth in the backrow, where all players have had Origin experience.

Honestly my preferred team atm would be;

1. Matt Moylan
2. Brett Morris
3. Josh Morris
4. Michael Jennings
5. Josh Mansour
6. Jamie Soward
7. Trent Hodkinson
8. Aaron Woods
9. Robbie Farah (vc)
10. Paul Gallen
11. Beau Scott
12. Ryan Hoffman
13. Greg Bird

14. Andrew Fifita
15. Trent Merrin
16. Boyd Cordner
17. Anthony Watmough

Dugan and Josh 'the grub' are both possibly out for 1-2 months and would just be returning to football come origin in May so I am going to leave them out. Obviously if they are not out that long they will both come into calculations

1. Hopoate (can't leave him out IMO and better then Moylan)
2. Tupou (probably deserves first shot, played well last year even though im not his biggest fan)
3. Jennings
4. J. Morris
5. B. Morris
6. Mullen/Soward/A. Reynolds (A toss up atm)
7. Hodkinson (Pearce is playing well but after winning it with NSW he deserves his shot)
8 Gallen
9 Farah
10- Fafita
11 Hoffman
12 Bird/Scott (scott if Bird is suspended still otherwise Scott is not a bench player)
13 Watmough

14 Lewis (if his fit, unsure of his fitness status)
15 Klemmer
16 W.Graham (love this guy, think his worth a shot)
17 Merrin

Others: Woods, Tamou, Cordner (unlucky to miss out).

Pack I have Gallen, Watmough, Fafita, Klemmer and Merrin playing through the middle. Hoffman, Bird/Scott and Graham on the edges with Lewis playing either edge or through the middle. Most of these guys (prob only Klemmer and Fafita) are 80min club players and thus it shouldn't be a problem with Graham and Lewis also covering for injuries in the backline. I think the game will be won with faster middle forwards who have good line speed and will hit hard rather then genuine big boppas but Fafita, Merrin and Klemmer provide size but also good leg speed.

Backline is all class and have all produced at origin level, Pearce even though he is playing well has never produced in an origin match so I would not be bringing him back any time soon.

Agree with most but Hopoate better than Moylan after one game? Woods and Cordner deserve spots over Klemmer and Graham.

Glad to see we've got great depth throughout every position. I think NSW can be dominant over the next few years if they pick the right players.

TBF Hoppa has played SOO before, all be it in a different position, and thats gotta count for something coupled with his excellent performance for Parra on Friday night

Cordner has been underwhelming in his games for both NSW and Australia. Theres a real touch of Ben Creagh about his rep career so far minus the running away from Hodges. I think Wade Graham offers more versatility and pure agression.

agree with you that Woods deserves to keep his spot

I love that with all that depth you still lost 8 in a row. Not won on paper, not won with players that impress in club games. You still don't get it!
