Sezer? No way. If your logic is to build a combo for the future that sure as hell isn't it. Basically you want the halves and 9 to be made up of players from bottom 8 teams?

Otherwise squad looks good, would swap out Hoppa for Walker if you are including Johnston

Sezer is a quality player. Better kicker, passer, runner, and goalkicker than both Pearce and Hodkinson, and a much cooler head. I would have picked Adam Reynolds if he wasn't injured.

The simple fact is Pearce and Hokko are not the long term solution, and they sure as hell aren't good enough to warrant selection on a "win this series first" basis. Sezer and Austin are better players, and better long term prospects. Ditto the good Reynolds.

I doubt Sezer would last 2/3 of an Origin game, Farah imo is a misdemeanor and Hoppa is without his old man's mongrel . . . other than that no complaints

Implying I haven't been watching him play most weeks for 3 1/2 years (Tits are my second team, so I often watch their games). He is better than Pearce, and that is not based on one game vs the Tigpies.

That team looks better than game 1. Gal and BMoz are a big bonus.
Merrin needs to start or get big minutes and Jackson offers no impact off the bench. I would much rather Austin in a utility role than Jackson.

Side is a lot better balanced with Gallen back. Gallen will play the full 80 minutes or pretty close to it. That means that the 4 bench players will rotate with the 4 other starting forwards. Klemmer and Merrin with Woods and Tamou, Jackson with Scott, and Cordner with Hoffman. Halves as always are a worry but hopefully they have learned from their mistakes
