I like the team although I would've brought in Maloney and moved Pearce to halfback. Great to see that Gallen and B.Morris are back that is a huge bonus. Farah will play but I would bring Peats into the camp just in case.

Queensland are weakened without Cronk as we saw last year, I thought he was the difference in Game 1 and bringing in DCE who isn't in form means that Hodkinson won't be playing a superior. The DCE V Hodkinson match up will be even.

GO THE BLUES SMASH THOSE ROTTEN merkinS

Bench lacks a bit of punch besides klemmer but the real issue is the halves. I think if we lose there will be a lot of players marked never to play origin again.

If that were the case, surely Pearce would have achieved that distinction quite some time ago?

Not understanding Cordner's ongoing selection either

Pearce, Cordner, Hokko, Hoppa are all very lucky to be there. Hoppa has been out of form playing for the team on the bottom of the ladder ffs and Hokko is very likely not going to be able to retain his starting club spot past this season, but they have been there before...

You want an impact player, pick Tariq Sims or Frizzell. You don't need Fifita to eat the whole buffet. He is so overweight and it is a shame, but maybe this might teach him to be disciplined off the field as well as on.

This playing big wingers has worked so well in the last 8 years. How about you pick the best winger? Did you not see how pathetic Hopoate was both in the last Origin and also for Parramatta last night...his so called great defence was awful! How about you pick a side to score points, if that means Inglis scores 1 so be it. I'd back Johnson to make the most of 2-3 half opportunities compared to Hopoate.

Reynolds and Jack Bird can work together, whether it is next year I'm not sure. Either way a running number 6 is what NSW need from next season.

Dude can you please reread what I wrote. I just said to you that I wouldn't mind if Fifita lost his spot to someone deserving but not while the likes of Cordner and Jackson remain in the side.

Yeah I watched hoppa shut down the greatest attacking unit in origin history twice, must be pretty pathetic to do that right? And his defence was good last night, it was only in the last 20 when his side leaked points when the entire team fell apart.

Jack Bird and Adam Reynolds are both right side players, why would you move a half to the other side when it's not his natural side and also a side where we've never seen him play!

Don't think they are competing for the same spot. Gallen is picked as a prop. Cordner is terrible, but I feel you are harsh on Jackson. I thought he was okay game 1, worked hard, and did run good lines, just that the halves can't pass!
you do realise Jackson was the starting middle forward in Game 1.......a position he doesn't play regularly at club level? he was clearly out of his depth in this role against Parker, Scott and Myles.

hoping he's not on the bench for the middle rotation. that can be left up to Merrin, Klemmer & Cordner. Jackson needs to give Scott or Hoffman a spell.....most likely Scott as Jackson plays right side for Canterbury.

Side is a lot better balanced with Gallen back. Gallen will play the full 80 minutes or pretty close to it. That means that the 4 bench players will rotate with the 4 other starting forwards. Klemmer and Merrin with Woods and Tamou, Jackson with Scott, and Cordner with Hoffman. Halves as always are a worry but hopefully they have learned from their mistakes

a big factor in winning last series was getting Gallen off the park for a spell.

He may play 80' regularly for Cronulla, but he's just getting back from injury. no way should he play near 80' in Origin.

Daley has to be smart with his middle rotations. Gallen and the rest of the starters will be much better with less minutes and more impact. Daley f**ked up in Game 1 by keeping Woods and Tamou on for too long, and then bringing both off at near the same time.

There are capable players in Klemmer and Merrin. Daley needs to have the faith in his bench like Hagan does for QLD.....after all, Daley has picked them!

Why isnt James Roberts even in the mix for this side? Plodders like Hoppa and Tupou can get multiple runs by a freak like Roberts cant?

Because he doesn't play for a "glamour" club. Yes I know Parra aren't so glamorous either but they are more so than the Titans.

Hodkinson has been pretty bad too lol.

It is duly noted that as soon as Hodkinson was hooked on the weekend, his team put on 19 unanswered points against the (then) competition leaders.

Roberts plays in the centers and J.Morris and Jennings have the center positions nailed down. Tupou deserved loyalty in game 1 and Hopoate was solid in the first game and has experience at this level.

Roberts has awesome potential and I would love to see him play in the future but I can live with him missing out this year.

NSW enforcer James Tamou has declared the Blues are ready and willing to ‘repay’ Queensland’s dirty tactics and cheap shots while also anointing Nate Myles as the Maroons’ chief offender............

Asked who was the main culprit of the niggle, Tamou paused before saying: “Nate Myles.’’.........
