Dugan and Stewart were horrible yesterday. If Daley didn't hate Penith I'd say Moylan would be a very good chance.

In Tariq Sims' return last night he played 80 minutes, made 170+ metres and 40+ tackles. A few more games like that and he should be right in contention for a NSW bench spot

The courier mail tells me before every season that Ryan James is going to be a blues 'bolter' this upcoming season.

Any chance? I don't think so, yet hope he is selected.

Not sure how 'horrible' Duges was. Playing busted and still scored the matchwinner and ran 170+ metres. May need to miss some footy at some point but should be one of the first few picked for NSW.

Dropping the ball repeatedly in your own 20 is bad

Wing options now that Brett Morris may be out? Also Scott may be out too.

Mansour, Hopoate, possibly Uate, maybe even Dugan if he isn't fullback.
Though if last year is anything to go off they'll probably just choose McManus, unfortunately.

As for Scott, the two replacements that come to mind are Josh Jackson or Wade Graham.

I'm not at all sold on Matt Moylan for the Fullback Jumper as He and Jack Wighton have the most handling errors for a Fullback with 9 after 5 rounds.

Compare that to Greg Inglis and Roger Tuivasa-Sheck making just the one each which is the best record for regular Fullback(s)

That is a massive difference in being able to hold onto a ball and It's alarming for mine if Moylan gets picked because you can't afford to drop that much ball in an Origin arena.

The Best record for an eligible Nsw Fullback that is fit is Brett Stewart with 3 and it's no secret he has some of the best hands in the game in terms of control and quick thinking.

Brett Morris only has the two handling errors but he is all but out of the first Origin and possibly the series.

I'd pick Snake for Origin 1 and if Nsw lose the first Origin I'd consider Tedesco to come in (He's got four errors to his name)

In picking Brett you'd have to really consider Glenn Stewart from Souths also because he is in some serious form and in representative fixtures pre-existing combinations are everything (due to limited time to train together as a squad)

I'd pick the following line-up.

1. Brett Stewart
2. Daniel Tupou
3. Josh Morris
4. Michael Jennings
5. Alex Johnston
6. Josh Reynolds
7. Trent Hodkinson
8. Aaron Woods
9. Robbie Farah
10. James Tamou
11. Glenn Stewart
12. Ryan Hoffman
13. Paul Gallen

14. Trent Merrin
15. Anthony Watmough
16. Beau Scott
17. Andrew Fifita
18. Jack Bird
19. James Tedesco
20. Dylan Walker

If Nsw lose the first game then I'd drop the Stewart brothers with Beau Scott to start, Tedesco to Fullback and Jack Bird to bench.
