so what's the difference?

the coach who apparently inspired the kiwis to be amazing can't coach a club team. i don't understand how it can be so f**ked.

At international level you have the best of the best, no rookies most of the players know their roles well, it seems more of a management job than coaching.
Kerneys the same all be it with Bennett helping winning a world cup but nothin for the eels.
If you had Mel coaching week in week out would he be as successful as he has been for QLD?

true enough, but surely you'd see more balls than these guys have?

even if outcoached and outplayed, they'd try if he was so inspirational?

Spot on.

Bluey doesnt have the players.

Then why did he turn down Glen's offer to buy some players earlier in the year?
No, Bluey has to cop at least half the blame.
I can't see him recovering from this. The players just don't have confidence in him.

agree. Phil hit the nail on the head there, hindsight 20/20, the role at the rep level is more of a manager role than coaching, and the Warriors are going backwards so fast it almost looks intentional.

Bluey doesnt have the players.

Thats a joke. This team on paper is not very different to the one that made the grand final last year, and they've played like a top four side in glimpses this year. Whatever the problem is, Bluey definitely has the players.

Like Steve Kearney and Pat Lam, even though you feel sorry for them, hanging on just makes it more apparent.
Mclennan is a failure.

Yes you did.

In a roundabout way...

04/05 Bluey had some of the best players on the planet at his disposal.

This year he had the local kindy..

Disagree, totally.

It is obvious that the players have little respect for him and IMO the club has to cut him this year before they end with back to back season failures which is not what the Warriors are about.

They should be playing finals this year with the squad that have on paper and this is not going to happen so the focus needs to go back on Bluey IMO.

I don't think Bluey is a bad coach, but he's made some big mistakes that have taken his time with the Warriors beyond repair imo. That's what it comes down to for me. It's not about making scapegoats or pointing fingers, it's about doing what's best for the club.

Easy to coach the best players on the planet

Not having them is where you earn your money, and he hasn't inherited a poor squad

Yet the players haven't responded to his 'management' style either.

Considering in order to actually make the finals, you have to be ahead of half the teams. Half the teams make the finals. So with our resources, it is a disgrace not to make it. The past months results should have players (and coach) on notice, the rest of the season should seal a few's fate IMO

Anyone who says Bluey doesn't have the players is having the biggest laugh possible.

And if Inu is included in their argument, it was Bluey's idea to not pick him then dump him. Other than that, the side is all but the same apart from utility brothers Berrigan and Hohaia.
