Hmm the News article is a bit contradictory to what has come out from the NRL, Warriors and Ticketek NZ which says:

Despite concerns in the media today, more than 600 of the 700 seats reserved for Roosters members remain available for sale.

Any Roosters Club Member who is a season ticket holder and is intending to fly to New Zealand for the match will be guaranteed a ticket to buy for another 24 hours.

All remaining tickets will then be released for public sale tomorrow at 10am (12pm NZ time).

Where are the thousands of Roosters fans buying tickets?? They still have 6/7ths of their bay empty.

dont worry, the 2000 strong will be going over lol nah in all seriousness its good that some of there fans are going over but if the roosters honestly though 2000 then they are kidding, they will be lucky to have 500 there, as already pointed out, the 700 allocated seats to rooster members gave only sold 100 but yeh, believe the 2000 figure

In spite of my anger at the wankers claiming we have no fans, I seriously doubt we have 2000 going over

heres the e-mail we got from the NRL

Tickets will go on sale to Club Members who are season ticket holders of the Warriors and Roosters on Monday, September 15, from 9am NZ time (7am AEST).

Warriors Club Members who are season ticket holders will have the option of purchasing their own seat plus an additional two tickets in the South Stand.

These must be purchased at Mt Smart Stadium, Gate B, between 9am-7pm on Monday, September 15 (NZ Time).

Warriors Club Members and other customers purchasing tickets over the phone in New Zealand can call 0800TICKETEK.

Club Members who are season ticket holders of the Roosters can purchase up to four tickets with their pass.

The number to call Ticketek in New Zealand from Australia is +64 9 307 5000.

Tickets will be available online at www.ticketek.co.nz

Supporter bays for the Roosters will be in Bays 7 and 15. Customers will be limited to a maximum of eight tickets.

Ticket prices are in $NZ

As its an NRL gig, maybe a good idea to deal directly with them.
The Warriors would look after any Rooster fans who intended coming over nut who may have been shagged around by tikitek who have been totally unprofessional.

win lose or draw the roosters always draw 10000-15000 to a game

Those wonderful band wagoner eels fans have a range betweebn 5000 - 10000 depending on if they won the week before.
