Some great information there.

Some more for you that you may or may not know.
Paddington Colts left the ESJDRL to go to Souths juniors and become a Souths club. This happened a year or 2 before Easts juniors moved all their teams to the Souths juniors, who all remained Easts clubs but played in the Souths juniors competition.
Paddington Colts were a prime reason that Easts left Souths juniors and moved to the Balmain competition. Basically due poor behaviour by club officials and a scant disregard for the rules, they were not really welcome to return once the contract had expired.

St Charles recently dissolved as an Easts junior club and became Saints in the Souths Juniors comp. They left mainly due to a fall out with Easts and what some (including myself) consider a calculated persecution and harassment of club officials by another club at Easts

On a more historical note, the patron of the Clovelly JRL club, whose name escapes me at the moment, lent Souths Juniors 5000 pounds to start building Souths Juniors on their current Kingsford site.

Yeah I'm aware of that Paddo Colts history, including the recent stuff with Souffs juniors and St Charles. Shame it comes to this with kid's footy.

Re. the new Saints club, I think they may have just one team and I believe alot of the catchment they would normally access have signed up for Clovelly who have a good number of teams (20+).

Re. the Clovelly loan, I didn't know that. Haven't helped ourselves as a junior league over the years, ceding most of our natural territory, losing interest in the later Ron Jones era and that's another chapter to it.
