The Karma Sutra would go alright
I am legend (but done right).
I've heard that book is so good that if you lend it to someone you're highly unlikely to get it back...Survivor by Chuck Palahniuk, the same guy that wrote Fight Club.
Chook.
Tom Clancy's Without Remorse has been 'in development' for about twenty years now
Wish they'd get on with it
Stephen Kings The Running Man done according to the book. Not that rubbish that they did with it. It's the perfect size for a movie as well, approx 200 pages.
The Windup girl - Paolo Bacigalupi (Gritty futuristic world and a pretty good story)
Lloyd Hopkins trilogy - James Ellroy (Of LA Confidential fame)
Shalimar the Clown - Salman Rushdie (Mind you considering how shit Midnights Children was maybe not)
I'd also like the Dogs of War and Brave New World to have films that do the book justice.

They are the worst people ever.Don't you hate those pricks!
Chook.
The Bourne Betrayel WITH Matt Damon.
The way the book is written is brilliant, but it won't happen because Damon wants nothing to do with the Bourne movies anymore.
I read recently that he is back in on a new one.
