He should have a great retirement winning at golf against rooster head honchos. $$$
Doesn't make sense. He should have a great retirement winning at golf against rooster head honchos. $$$
Exactly.Doesn't make sense.
He isn't a player now so they can pay him whatever they want.
So why bother with the golf charade?Exactly.
I can't see how it could be argued tbh. I think even the most ardent Rooster haters will agree that it was time to call it a day.Anyway, the feelings of sadness I feel for his retirement will be replaced by sheer joy when the inevitable LU meltdown comes around with the news of his medical retirement
You’re not new here, SocI can't see how it could be argued tbh. I think even the most ardent Rooster haters will agree that it was time to call it a day.
So is this confirmation that the golf games happen? So why bother with the golf charade?
Didn’t see anything suspicious when caddyingSo is this confirmation that the golf games happen?

Anyway, Boyd was a very decent player who I would have welcomed at my weird club.Didn’t see anything suspicious when caddying
He did three of those, Junior Pearce never did one.Would’ve liked to have seen him finish his career on the field and doing a lap of honour post game like many a player have done before him.
He gets paid out his contract but it isn't on the cap if medical retirement has been approved as appears to be the case.Doesn't make sense.

I guess an independent neuro specialist would give an assessment and recommendation.I'm not for one second suggesting they are playing games but in the future if an aging player came to an agreement with the club, what's stopping them from playing the career ending concussion card?
Concussions can't physically be monitored, only the bloke suffering knows what it's like

Made of tougher stuff too.Martin Lang ran tougher lines.
Gus was saying in his podcast recently how medical retirement can be rorted by clubs. They couldn't very well deny it to Cordner though with all the media on concussion.I'm not for one second suggesting they are playing games but in the future if an aging player came to an agreement with the club, what's stopping them from playing the career ending concussion card?

By what criteria do you judge that on?Made of tougher stuff too.
