Give him a go.
White has done sh*t all this international summer, apart from the Twenty20.

Twizzle said:White for me,
more future in him than Hogg
he should be allowed a few failures after his first class form, he has been brilliant in first class cricket
plus he is 10 times the batsman that Hogg is
Roosters_187 said:There have been plenty of people with brilliant form in first class cricket i.e Jacques, Rogers, Hodge etc. I agree there is more of a future in him than hogg but how long does he get, Jacques scored 90 odd then hasnt had another chance. He has failed when the pressure is on and he cant bowl for sh*t hogg is ten time better than him with the ball. I hope warney will help white.

The other more important point however is that none of the players you mentioned would be good at #7, where they would have to play.
White has been in excellent form at state level in the one day game and is a perfect fit at 7. He, unlike the others can turn a match in overs, his 40 odd against england proved that (he turned 240 odd into 290 with the help of symonds) and his 20/20 for also shows how destructive he can be. For that reason alone he deserves more time.
With white in teh side there is stil room for Hogg, white is primarily a batsman and on spin friendly wickets you would ideally play Hogg as well.

Roosters_187 said:All i was saying is that countless players have exceled in first class cricket and they did not get the opportunity that white is getting. I think he needs to work on his bowling, if he is selected in the team to bat i would have haddin over white easy you can;t tell me white is a better bat than haddin. He has crumbled under pressure imagine him in a world cup semi final. Oh and in terms of jacques it is obvious I was talking about last season.
When white was selected to play in the junior ranks for australia it was primarily for his bowling and he has neglected that part of his game. His batting has improved greatly but i dont feel it's enough to warrant his selection
lockyno1 said:Exactly. That backhand flick runnout that he did was awesome. That type of fielding wins matches. Haddin would never be able to do that!
