Did anyone here watch the Thursday game Parra vs Storm?

Storm missing half a side and still let in only 2 tries to a full strength Eels side.

My point is if you saw them tackle it was ferocious.

Killer instinct and the attitude in defence was beautiful.

Bellamy has that side so well drilled it’s just not funny.

Whilst our rehab group are playing tag team wrestling because they don’t need to improve shyte.......

Yes. Missing Johnson isnt an excuse for such a poor defensive display. Intent, communication, physicality, technique all missing.

Be interesting to see Morris’s press conference.

If he’s not ripping in about the pathetic attitude and performance he just watched then there’s something seriously wrong and it won’t get fixed with him at the helm.

Frenzy.

The Sharks need to find the best defensive coach in the game and sign him. They need a full off-season to rework the defence. It's way off the mark. The attack is pretty good and can improve.

Yeah, they will NOT just simply square up. Turn shoulder in, turn shoulder in, turn shoulder in. The line leaves gaps-a-plenty. Wingers wander. I still wonder if Bubba's abacus is broken. Doesn't "seem" to be able to count the numbers and call the defence. Maybe he does and is quiet but don't see much gesticulating and apparent calling. I'm off him again. On, off, on, off - just like him actually.

Line speed slow, don't know if that is deliberate to actually make them keep the line straight but geez it makes for easy metres. The grit is gone. I don't wanna hear that anymore. They are trying, I don't doubt it but they are no longer the gritty Sharks.

Bellamy drills the team with every little aspect of the game until they get it perfected.

There is no short cuts, no excuses and no one doing clueless plays.

We look clueless in defence.

Really clueless where it really looks embarrassing.

It's not just the lack of being able to read the play its the falling off tackles like amateurs. I reckon we're the worst in the comp at that

This X 100.

That first contact is so important and so many times the player isn’t winning the collision.

They are either getting pushed back or being pushed off.

A lot of the time we are relying on the 2nd or 3rd tackler to be the most effective tackler.

When that happens we get quick play the balls against us and lose the ruck.
