The grubby player calls are unwarranted IMO. I'd like to see a few examples of where he has played like a grub in the NRL.

Apart from the punch on Bird in origin (everyone does stupid shit in that arena and it's Bird, so it's ok) he has mostly played the game clean, though in an EXTREMELY competitive manner, which would understandably get under the skin of opposition fans.

He has a massive heart to come back from as many injuries as he has and still play well enough to make rep teams consistently.

Before his injuries he was an absolute gun. Doesn't deserve to be mentioned in the same breath as Bird.

Exactly everywhere you go there are idiots, sporting clubs, workplaces, Internet. In game 3 if Bird goes down u can bet that a section of our fans will be cheering also. And they will also be dickheads.
