He can keep his feet though.

Don't think I've ever seen a player slip over more than Taters.

Sadly it was the end of him too. :(

Brent Tate, a player I've always loved to hate but the game will be far poorer for him not being in it.

One of the toughest players you'll see and I strongly believe he would've been one of the all time great centers had injuries not cruelled him. Still, he's had a career most players would envy.

That speed and swerve he had before his first ACL tear was phenomenal. When you look at how well his career turned out after all the injuries, it's crazy to think how good he could've been.

Tate was a shit player that benefited from far better players. Grub on the field and a douche face to match his attitude.... I remember when he played for the broncs my dad would scream at the pea hearted gimp for constantly crabbing sideways and refusing to run foward.

Don't like seeing anyone injured but honestly the dude was a grub pretending to be a white knight at least bird gal and co admit they are grubs.

Goodluck you pea hearted walking accident I won't miss you one bit.

if it was possible, and it may not be. He could try a LARS reco, back in 8 - 10 weeks.

may not be finished yet. he needs to have a chat to the NSW origin and Swans doctor (OMG the same person how does that happen. the horror, the horror) Nathan Gibbs about LARS and whether it would be viable. then an orthopod. but if its possible, 8 - 10 weeks. he could be back for the finals.

As Roy and HG would put it, "everybody's talkin' Tate!"

This thread has revealed some real shit human beings.

Totally agree Dave.

He adapted his game because he lost a bit of pace over the years. His passing game and ability to set up supports is vastly under-rated. And great defender as well.

He certainly knew when to be in the right spot, and that can't be coached.
He was a gun, and would be even more highly rated if his knees held up.

It's also revealed their poor ability to read the game, can't believe some people are saying he was a shit player.

Same people watch a Mundine fight and ignore the punches he throws . . . simple eye to brain short circuit

To be fair when 90% of your fights are against useless pricks who have no right to be in a boxing ring people's perceptions are naturally going to skew.

Makes no f**king difference, dopes only see what they want to see, people who watched Tate, and any sportsperson, and only looked for the negatives are League Supporter Pretenders
