Now now Hutty ... don't let two little words raise your blood pressure thus.

Breathe ... and think of Greg Bird. Think of Greg Bird crying. Think of Greg Bird, a leader of the NSW team, crying after every play the ball.

There, there ... you aren't the old NSWer who has emotional issues. Birdy does too. That must be a comfort.

Booing an injured player is a dick move, regardless of what state or team you support.

Saying, "well you would too" isn't any type of defence of the people doing it.

You are 100% right. It's a dick move either side of the border.

I guess the point is certain Qld fans have come on here huffing and puffing about the affront to mankind that Tate was booed without considering the fact Qld supporters do exactly the same thing. I've been to Wally World, I have seen it.

Idiots like IBM are so ridiculously bent in their f*cked up world view that anyone associated with a team he supports can do no wrong. Its hilarious (and pathetic)

Jeez cmon guys no needed to be so divided.
I was lucky enough to go and I thought it was apalling
But
I could see it being similar in suncorp.

But one thing I did notice was nsw media liked highlighting a few grubby acts of qld without any context or not talking about what the bloke did to deserve it. (not to say they always did but its generally pretty 50 50 on field)
Maybe after 8 series losses and that being shown everywhere heat takes over an otherwise normal person and they say the messed up stuff I heard at the 10 mtr line?

Are people still carrying on about Brent Tate?

The bloke has played well into his 30s, including winning a premiership, countless origins, and plenty of test caps along the way.

What exactly is tragic about his career that we should feel sorry for?

Before we answer your questions: were you cheering when he was carried off??????

Yes, Tate who has gone through three rounds of knee rehabilitation, and who loves the game so much he hates missing one game for either his club or his state - cries when his knee blows up for the fourth time.

Uncompassionate tosser aren't you! I can guarantee if you had one knee reconstruction you'd be curled up in a corner with your thumb in your mouth, and never play sport again, let alone go through four and still rise to the top of representative rugby league.

:lol::lol::lol::lol:

Jeez you are a snapper aren't you :p

Honestly you act as if Brent is the second comming of Christ or something. Get over it he had some knee reconstructions came back and plodded his way through some games ho hum.

I thought him comming back from the neck injury was far more impressive.

But hey Mini came back from reconstructive back surgery and won a premiership I don't see you sucking his dick everytime some derp boo's him.

Oh and he only rose to the top of rep footy out of loyalty not form. His form bar a few games for the warriors and cowboys has been bog average. If he was picked on his actual form for his preferred position ie center he wouldn't have even seen a single game. Same goes for the bearded pea hearted merkin Boyd.

I was neither here nor there about it. All I was worried about is that it was good for NSW that he was leaving the field.

Knee and/or ankle injuries aren't exactly life threatening so unless there is some extenuating circumstances e.g. a young kid in his rookie or break out year for example, then you can't expect too much sympathy for them.

This post is proof that you have no idea about rugby league or you only recently started watching it.

He was an absolute gun for the Broncos and QLD and Australia before his injuries.

Proves you know f**k all about football when he played for the broncos he would always and I mean always run sideways with great gusto he got the nickname the sideways man from pretty much every broncos supporter I know. He never deserved to Be in the australian sides and pretty bog average when he was. Oh he had his shining moments here and there and that is probably what all his nuthuggers are remembering but for me I will always remember him causing my old man no end of grief with his crabbing runs to the midfield and a refusal to take the line on unless there was a gap the size of the Grand Canyon sitting in front of him or if he had to chase a Lockyer kick.

Bog average will be forgotten in a years time if he retires.

Yes, that's why the vast majority of Broncos, Warriors, Cowboys and QLD fans are singing his praises, because they hated him and he sucked.

He scored 16 tries in 26 games for Australia. So crap.

You have no idea.

I think Tate was a pretty good player but I could score 16 tries in 26 games for the Roos if they'd give me a shot.
