I enjoyed how shocked the parra officials were at this news...before reading a few lines down that the parra officials were not surprised at this news :lol:

I actually though this was going to be one of the annoying threads, such as "Bird signs with the Dragons" where I thought it was the nrl dragons but was the french dragons. I was thinking he'd thrown in his leagues club membership or something :lol:. Very surprising stuff anyway, we will see how this affects your team in time I suppose.

Just a thought, maybe we could use the money to fund a defence for Todd Carney against his exclusion from the NRL and have him as our halfback.....

Might not work but better than a lot of other options in my opinion....

Burt to hooker would fail. Immensely. If your are going to put Burt anywhere other than FB, it should be 5/8. Apart from that i can't see him playing anywhere, he is in the Lockyer mould of FBs (not saying he is anywhere near as good, but he has fantastic support play, and he is a playmaking fullback with a kicking game.)

I share Jess's feelings towards this, i didn't want Finch to go. (also many thanks to the LOL Finch FB group, thats how i found out about this.)

To be honest it wouldn't matter who our halfback was at present as the forwards aren't going forward.
A. Johns could be at no.7 and we would still be struggling, apart from a good kicking game.

Matt Head must be signed now, he would not be happy after sitting on the bench for 80mins last friday night so a great chance to snare a good half.
