Just read on the dailytelecrap that he isn't going to SL, he wants to stay in the NRL & that Penrith & St George are interested in him!

Just announced that Parra will agree to the release, but will not allow him to be able to play against us. That would rule out a move to any other NRL club.

Dumped Brett Finch to stay in NRL

Exclusive by Andrew Webster | April 08, 2009 09:52am

BRETT Finch could be playing with another NRL club within a fortnight after seeking a shock release from Parramatta last night. Contrary to reports elsewhere, the livewire halfback will not accept a lucrative deal with a UK Super League club and hopes to play the rest of the season with another club in Australia.

While the Eels have not confirmed to Finch’s management that they will release him, it is understood Penrith and St George are already circling for his signature.

The Daily Telegraph has also been told a fallout with coach Daniel Anderson is at the root of Finch’s stunning decision to want a release.

It is believed that the final staw came when Finch was switched to hooker with 20 minutes to go in the Eels game against the Roosters last Friday night. Finch reportedly blew up on the field when he was give the orders.

Yes I think we have some experience in this type of thing (Judas, Tim).

Finch seeks release from Eels: report
April 8, 2009 - 9:59AM
Halfback Brett Finch has shocked Parramatta by requesting an immediate release from the NRL club to move to the English Super League, according to a Fairfax report.
The former NSW Origin player has also stood himself down from Friday's clash with St George-Illawarra, claiming he is not in a fit mental state to play, Fairfax reported.
The Eels are expected to formally announce the 27-year-old's release and a club official said a formal statement would be made later on Wednesday.

Given the fact that our players have had a cruisy couple of years with Hages, and have now been shocked into action by DA, is this the tip of the iceberg??

It does appear as though our players are stuggling with this new regime!

PASS, Anderson!! (After yesterdays Fail with team selection).

Finch going won't solve all our probs but at least it will free up some money and we won't paying an over paid HACK!!

its funny - the guy who cuts my hair is a big st george fan - and we were joking about footy last Saturday and I told him we'd swap him Finch for Head (and he of course cracked the mandatory head joke) - and then he laughed at the prospect of having finch

You know, whispers of deals don't come about after shocking games on TV. I wonder if something else was playing on Brett's mind on Friday night.

Can someone confirm for me something, When Finch went to Hooker and KK to Half was Matt Keating off the field?
