And yeah he did captain Weststigers, and will do a great job in the UK. This year his form has been as good as ever if not better, Because of that a lot of supporters are baffled as to why we let him go. As tiger Nick said he will be the best signing the club has made, dont let his size or lack of it ! fool you, he would be called the toughest pound for pound player in the NRL by most people, but he also has a brilliant football brain to add to that toughness.

Not sure if Hodgo is suited to the captaincy to be honest. I don't think it worked too well at the Tigers, but he's still a great player and toughest player going around for sure.

Quite frankly, we looked better (and seemed to win more) with hodgo injured.

He tried to take on too much of a ball playing role which wasnt suiting our current situation. Was always a better player flying up the middle and occasionally chiming in with a pass.

Exactly. Look at what happened when he was out. Benji and Farah were at a different level and Gallant was running freely.

He dominated too much and simply wasn't good enough for a full time role.

I think Hodge is overrated. Yes he may be tough, but face it, the only thing he is really good at is busting through tackles (by using his height, or lack there of). He is a handy goal kicker as well but Marshall or Collis are just as good.
