But yes i'd have to say that I haven't seen stronger teams than the 92 broncos and 94 Raiders.

And who do you think would've won that match?

During the period when the Broncos/Raiders rivalry was at its peak (1993-96), I believe the '93 match in Canberra was the only time both teams met each other with full strength sides.

Brisbane in 97 and 98 were stronger on paper than in 1992. The 1992 side were more dominant but that was because there main rivals had terrible seasons Penrith were hit badly by the death of Ben Alexander and the Raiders were stuffed because they were caught cheating the cap.

Brisbane's main opposition which was St George were arguably the weakest grand finalists for years. They were arguably more dangerous the season before with Offiah in the side.

The 98 Brisbane side were better on paper in pretty much every area with the exception of the front row. No way the Knights in 01 would have won there side in 98 would be better than the 01 side.

Nah I have no idea who would win that one.

The 93 season was heading to an epic Raiders v Broncos Grand Final but Ricky Stuart snapped his ankle in the final round of the regular season. It's very disappointing that the early 90s Raiders and Broncos sides never met in a GF.
