broncos really shouldnt be struggling with the salary cap. a lot of young players who wouldnt be on big contracts. this articles reads more that his manager is trying to push up his value

Alot of players coming off their first, low range contract who would demand a fair increase in salary all at once would put them under pressure, plus obviously Hodges Thaiday Hannant still around.

If you had to let one of them go it'd be Yow Yeh, he's ok but he's fairly replaceable

Even if that's the case the Broncos will still have the exact same problem juggling to keep all of those players. If the cap goes up it'll mean the Broncs can offer McGuire more money but so too can every other club who's interested with the increase, it's all relative.

Petero wont stay longer than a year. Nick Kenny wont be getting another contract. Scott anderson would be on small money as would Dodds. Brisbane will be keeping Mcguire. Yow Yeh wont leave the Broncos either, they pulled him from the gutter after the eels let him go.

Considering the Broncos had 400K lying around for GI, and with an extra 250K thanks to Locky's departure (along with extra third party deals) and with the cap. to increase, I'd say the Broncos will be fine. They'll lose a few players, but they'll be able to decide who and I can't see us fans being too heartbroken.
