We’ve f**king tried.

But the almond lattè sipping Yupsters from West End won’t let us because they know we’ll just jack up the price of Avocados and it will stop them being able to consume their favourite breakfast combo.

You could become an Avocado republic...

The folk in the video are the wrong nationality was my point.

It’s an Asian suburb now days. The bogan element have moved further out. I go over there a bit for the markets and particularly the seafood.

In saying that, a portion of the shopping centre burnt down recently so some of the old locals must be there or thereabouts still :joy:
Asians ? Bogans ? Its literally 80. % indigenous community always has been still is...

You pretty much don't go to anywhere in Logan or Ipswich past 6 o clock unless its a f**king dire situation...

lol Ipswich in most peoples minds is still what it used to be, these days it is actually a very safe city, a lot of councils are mirroring the Ipswich safe city plan.

Not really that common these days.

Doubt anyone under 40 knows about it.

A lot of regional slang has disappeared. We used to call school bags "ports" in NQ for example.
We had ports in the central west of NSW in the 80s as well.

Like a little suitcase!
