Ok,

I am an avid fan of the Dragons. Bar none.

I used to hate the Broncos with a passion (Not so much anymore).

I live in Ashgrove (Close to Red Hill).

I am not sure what pubs will be playing the game tomorrow night.

Would it be cardinal sin to sign up to the Broncos Leagues Club in order to guarantee watching the Dragons v Knights game tomorrow night?

I say this because, in Brisbane, I do believe the lions will also be playing. Now while they might be the unwanted son, I am not sure that all pubs will be playing the league. My views are, that if it's a leagues club, it will be showing the league, without any intereferance from any other sport. My friend is a member of this leagues club and I can get a free minibus home.

They also serve cheap(ish) beer.

Please offer your thoughts.

I was thinking of writing on the app form thingy, that I am a massive Dragons supporter, and that Ivan Henjak looks like he lives under a bridge.

just make sure you break heaps of glasses, get in a couple of biffs, mack some hotties and then trash the joint while you're getting dragged out and banned for life

Every other member has probably bought copies of Wayne Bennett’s books so indirectly they’re supporting our cause.
When seen cheering wildly for the Dragons. Just explain that they’re you’re second team and choose an appropriate time on departure to mention that they’re also your first and last team.
Broncos fans are really closet Dragons fans in any case otherwise they would have necked themselves in the past few years

I lived at The Gap until recently and can confirm that Broncos Club always have the Dragons game on one of their big screens. Occasionally, the sound may be turned down if there is a Union game on (some of the locals like the QR Reds it seems). But usually they are good with league games, so I go there to watch games that aren't on Free to Air TV (or when I travel down to Wollongong).

Pubs in the area are very unreliable for showing rugby league - The Gap Tavern often turns the league (or the TVs) off, Ferny Grove Tavern is OK some of the time; The pub at Kepperra is OK when a band isn't on. If you go to any of these places there is a big risk that you will miss the game, so Broncos is the best option. Further afield, the sports bar at the Casino usually has league on.

At Broncos, beers are good as well as the food (seafood buffet is a bargain). Just avoid the Broncos "star walk" and memorabilia wall as you go through the club to get to the bar and big screen.

I realised the Lions was on last night when they put it on over the Tits vs Faiders game. Was not happy. I will give them a call today and double check i think.
