I`ve just went to the Bulldogs section and posted my piece about them and it was deleted with-in seconds!

You don`t just make serious allegations such as rape and then dismiss it for no reason. *you do if there's not evidence to prosecute*
If the police dropped the allegations last year for no reason then why wasn`t the lady in question put on the spot for making false allegations?*they would have to prove them false*

Probably going to the Dogs forum with this wasn't the wisest move. Personally I can't see anything wrong with your letter.

All I know is that the Admin/Moderators of this site have been asked to be extra vigilant about the whole matter until the Police have finished their investigations.

Unfortunately, any talk or speculation about the matter has to be clamped down on pretty fast to avoid this site getting into any legal trouble.

Please try and understand UT, until the general public know more via the Media, there is not a lot we can permit here on this site.

Besides, the season is about to kick off - wouldn't you rather focus your attention on the Knights?

UT,

At the moment the police are investigating the matter. All the information that has been published is what is alleged to have happened and has not been proven for fact. At the present moment until such time as what happened is proven no-one can be named. If we name the wrong person and they happen to see it the site can be charged with defamation and closed down. We cannot deal in speculation - we can only guess who the players are and we may not be correct. Until such time as the police have completed their investigation and people are charged with the matter we cannot name anyone.

I know its not a great image for our game but we have to be extremely careful mate.

They are innocent until proven guilty UT however this does not necessaily mean that the girl is lying. Her story has to be investigated and if they have enough evidence to prove her story then those involved will be charged.

Its a very difficult situation. The case last year was dropped due to a lack of evidence. For the police to charge someone they need to have a good deal of evidence that points at that person/persons. I don't think there was enough evidence to link anyone person to the matter.

I seriously doubt they will because you've accused them of a cover-up - or at least you're saying their commercial subsidiaries are involved in a cover-up.

No letters editor will endanger his or her employer by publishing something that offers so much allegation, but without any recognisable proof.

Keep hanging in there Untouchable - I agree we need to make players accountable for their actions but it is yet to be decided whether any player has a case to answer so how can we expose someone for doing something that we cannot prove they did.

If I accused you of fraud, with no evidence and based completely on what I heard from others, how would that make you feel? Pretty darn angry, I'd suggest, especially if you didn't do it.

I'd want the courtesy of proof or at least the due process of an investigation, not people parading my name around saying things I haven't done.

The truth will get out - just hang in there with the rest of us UT.
