I've been enjoying it a lot more now that it's a Suarez-less league. But then again, so is the Premier League for a while too...

I must admit, I do like the Bundesliga, a fun league to support. The football isnt up to Barca standard of course, but its still good, the league is close, every team has personality, even watching last season, a team such as St Pauli was fun to watch even tho they sucked.

and they have a good highlights show on one. watch it.

Will always prefer Serie A tho.

Even tho a Euro Superleague would be the best.

It can't be too far away. Within the decade surely. It'll more than likely look similar to the NFL. An extended Champions League group stage, perhaps divided by conferences and even divisions, leading into a play off knockout. You could home and away against division rivals, then pick off games within conference. Europe is already fairly primed for divisions and conferences, the geography and concentration of nations make it fairly doable. Wouldn't kill off domestic leagues, you would imagine they would run alongside each other. It would also limit the need to rebrand what is a global phenomenon in the Champions League.

A straight up division pro/rel system wouldn't work. It would be nothing short of disastrous.

He's the epitome of a scumbag... But in fairness to him, Ajax are clearly struggling to fill the void he's left...

Unfortunately for your sake, he's back as of Monday. Liverpool somehow did surprisingly well without him, KO'ing the Manchester clubs in both cups.

The EPL is looking pretty damn close at the moment.

Man City........54
Man Utd........54
Spurs.............49

It falls away a bit there after that of course, but it's still been tremendous to watch this season IMO.

Lol falls away just a bit?

The plastic kommerzverein EP£ is as exciting as watching paint dry. It's as technical as Ned Zelic sitting in a chair.

Speaking of falling away, Arsenlol's inability to replace one player has been spectacular. Ditto Liverpool but Alonso has been gone for years

yep some good points there. however I want to see the superleague as THE main league. not just a side league like the champions league. The winner of the Uefa cup gets to promote to the Superleague.

Something else that's quite a close race, top goalscorer:

Gomez........17
Huntelaar.....16
Pizarro........15
Podolski.......15
Lewandowski 14
Reus............12
Abdellaoue....11
Raul.............10

Come on Raul!! :p Seriously though, I can't find a site that has odds for this. Anyone?

It strikes me that perhaps Bayern are focusing far more on Europe this year than usual and have let their concentration on the BL title slip somewhat. It's not an excuse but it is understandable though. It's not every year your club's a massive favourite to win the European Cup on your own home ground.

Edit; misread your post.
I'd say they are third favourites, you have to remember both Barcelona and Real Madrid are still in the UCL and most opposition teams are sh!tting themselvesat the prospect of facing them.
Still, would be awesome if Bayern made the final - you'd think even against the top two they'd have a big chance, particularly against Real.
