Gomez would have about 30 if he scored most of what he misses. Still he's one of the best worldwide.
It strikes me that perhaps Bayern are focusing far more on Europe this year than usual and have let their concentration on the BL title slip somewhat. It's not an excuse but it is understandable though. It's not every year your club's a massive favourite to win the European Cup on your own home ground.

They're not focusing on anything that's why they don't reinforce.

They'll barely get past Basel and probably lose.

Franco and Barca would put 6 through them. Probably 10 if Tymoschuk ever plays fullback again.

After the way Barca have beaten Madrid this season, I don't think you can really say that their league form will in any way reflect on their UCL form.

The BL has been the closest for a while now, I'm pretty sure it has the top amount of goals scored among the top 5 ranked leagues as well for about 15 years running (France has the lowest from memory).

When it rains it pours for Bayern!

Also, Dortmund were held 0-0, so the gap is reduced to 5 points....

€18,99 Hoppenheim got rushed. Bavarian friends FCA did us the great favour but still can't see BvB dropping enough points to lose the title.

Good enough? Yes. I don't think they will though. Realistically they must defeat BvB and iirc it's at the Westfalenstadion. That would still require more dropped points.

We have - Augsburg, Hanover, Stuttgart & Mainz at home and Dortmund, Hertha, Nürnberg, Köln & Bremen away.

Dortmund have the derby with Schalke, Gladbach, Bremen and us. Their road is slightly tougher.

I really don't know why they drop points to teams like Freiburg. Hoppenheim are crap but so are Freiburg. This season in all competitions is over for FCB as far as I am concerned.

4-all between Dortmund and Stuttgart overnight. One of the best games of the season across any European league by far, and the craziest last 20 minutes I've seen in a while.

I'm sure that'll give Bayern some more momentum in the league.

I was following the live scores online and at about the 50th minute (2-0) I stopped following cos I figured it would end 3-0 or 3-1. Very surprised to see the FT score, wish I'd watched it...

Bayern have a great opportunity today, though right now they're still at 0-0 just before the break. Any reason why Ribery and Schweinsteiger are on the bench???

PS: WHEN! are Werder Bremen going to win a match!?!? This last 3 or 4 months must be one of the worst periods in their recent history! I know, I've backed them a few too many time!

f**k Werder. FCB now do not need to rely on others to win the league. Also playing every 3 days lol @ Klopp.

May I point out that Cisse has 7 goals from 7 matches for NUFC with only 12 shots on target  throw in Ba scoring for fun, Gomez just behind Messi in CL scoring and Huntelaar leading the EL scoring, what kind of soap dodging twat would claim the BL is no good for strikers? :D

aww bless. He learned another insult.

Gomez and Huntelaar being the best in Germany says it all about the quality of strikers in that league.

I see your still of the opinion Newcastle is in Germany. Strange.

Where did I say NUFC were in Germany? :? They signed two BL strikers who are dominating England, not that it means anything anymore.

What's it say about the EPL when Dimitar Berbatov can dominate?

You see what you did there is you listed strikers who play for Newcastle, whilst making a point that the BL was good for strikers. Strange.

That all the good players leave the BL as quickly as possible.

Thats why its a weaker league.

It's not strange since they were signed to the EP£ from the BL when you said the BL was not a good place for strikers.

Being as dumb as dog shit must be a pre requisite for being a Man U fan
