Bayern are taller, stronger, better or at least equal everywhere on the park save for Messi and Xavi. The reason why they would win IMO is their ability to pass themselves out of pressure, Pep's pressing would not be as successful and we already saw how physically dominant Bayern were against most of those players.

But in any event both teams will go down in history as almighty teams. Opinions get born from bias. What matters is both teams have the medal to back up their dominance.

Barca of. 09 were just something else, if it wasnt for magical goal keeping from Neuer, Dortmund would have had 3 in the final, so if this dortmund side could break them down a few times, then Barca 09 could easily do the same.

For Bayern to be considered their equal, they need to win one of the next two UCL. A feat they are more than capable of achieving.

You missed the entire point, dortmund got some great chances, then one of the greatest teams to ever exist could do the same.

And no one said valdes was, but Messi, Eto, Henry, Xavi, Iniesta is easily better than anything dortmund could have thrown at you in the final.

More just making the point that I think it would be a very close match if the Barca 09 side met this current Bayern side in a one off match. Maybe 2-1 to Barca with Messi the difference.

As you said Bayern need to win another European Cup in the next couple of years and dominate domestically (a given really) before we start talking about them in the same breath as the great Barca and Milan sides in terms of success over a sustained period of time.
