Egan was coming down with his hand, always a risk with a number of players in the tackle, and then as I said silly to challenge.

I didn't see a blatant strip either when I watched it, but I agree with Matua. It wasn't particularly a wise challenge.

Yeah, this tackle is a clear message to the competition that there is no pressure on kickers, and they can act with impunity. They are untouchable once they go into the act of even thinking about kicking. Wonder how long it takes for them to dummy and go once this is established as common fact.

It's laughable. I didn't watch that game, apparently it was a penalty? (incidentally I said Knights, just worked out it's Souths).

Savage is the number 5 - the one going low. Think that's Timoko who hit him in the chin. Doesn't really matter, should still have been a penalty

I'm pretty sure it was a penalty based on the comments. It just seemed so hilarious that the NRL are, or like to say they're tough on head contact and not using arms...then a clip gets highlighted using both.
