Cheers. Had never really heard him mentioned as a great player of the era... might have been a good finisher?A winger in the 60's.

I think defenses are better nowadays than in the past.
again you prove you have nfi, all well and good to say defences have improved without also acknowledging attack has improved at a far greater degree to blatantly try and prove a point
Brett Kenny 110
Luke Burt 93
Steve Ella 92
Eric Grothe 78
Ray Price 78
Mick Cronin 75

I thought Burt was very good again on saturday night. That little grubber to score his first was fantastic.
I don't think anyone could seriously suggest Burt is better then Bert except for at kicking but if he beats the record good on him & I'll be there to cheer him on.
Luke has had an up & down career, there has been times when he has been outstanding & times he has been fairly poor which I think is why he has his fans & detractors because some people focus on certain moments of his career. One thing I will give him even when his form was poor I don't think it was ever through a lack of trying which is more then I can say for some footballers.
I hope he doesn't break it. He's an imposter. Brett Kenny is a legend & Luke Burt is far from it. Only reason he's been loyal is that he's never received an offer from another club. Love to see Jarryd Hayne break the record in time as he will be a club legend. In fact he'd never get 100 if i was the coach.
