My Point still stands if SBW is standing 20 meters back by the time he receives the ball and gets up a full head of steam (Thats if he doesnt decide to run sideways) the defence will meet him after he runs about 10 meters thats a loss of 10 meters...... and if he is just rushing the defence head on as normal whats the point the dogs already have as good if not better fowards to cart the ball up and offload. (Certainly more durable fowards)

FFS the only time someone stands 20 behind the line in attack and expects the ball is if they are going to pot a dropped goal. A forward preparing for a hitup only needs about 3-4 paces - the old Martin Lang approach.
