Just quietly, not only was O'meley not a local junior but he played 50 games for the Northern Eagles & North Sydney. Claiming him as one of yours is a bit of a laugh tbh.

Not only that but poached by a club cheating the cap, losing/signing players is part and parcel of the game but but complaining about losing a player whose signing was only possible because of some creative accounting is a joke. Some might call it karma...

lol. The point I was trying to make was for 800k the Roosters would be getting a player who wouldn't be spending too much time on the field. At his best though, SBW is just awesome to watch and would get a few more fans through the gate.
