That was my original thought too, but I have started to change my mind on that. I'm almost willing to say I like that have kept them less realistic than MW2. I couldn't believe though that it was only 12:30ish when I heard my first straight-faced call of hack. Seriously laughed at that.

For mine though, best part of the whole game is the bots. Maybe it's because I'm a CS fanboy but they are awesome when you just want to learn a map or simply not stress out over the scoreboard.

What are the n00b t00bs like? I love firing them into random windows from across a whole map. I've heard they've adjusted it so snipers can't quick scope.

Later in the solo campaign the graphics really show, I think u gotta consider the amount of action unfolding at any given time,

*Edit, went and picked mine up and got a hardened rather than standard, I certainly never ordered a hardened.

With the graphics, I'll admit, one of the MP maps did look a bit cheesy (The neighbourhoodish type one - Very small map too) but of what I've seen of the single player so far (Mission 1) I liked it.

the bots are FANTASTIC for someone like me, it's a really good way for me to learn how to play COD online. Whilst the AI don't move like a human, certainly from a perspective of learning how to shoot properly, it's a fantastic mode.


I was suprised, played some Domination last night, and was able to rank up to a I think an 11. Still have a woeful K/D ratio, but it's better than I've ever had in the past.


The only strange thing to me was that you had to change your settings to get local search preferences. Shouldn't that be a default? I was ready to throw my controller after playing 4 red bar games and getting killed, before I realised you had to change that setting. Had a much more enjoyable experience after that.


There is no single player co-op is there? Dissapointing to me if so and kinda hoping maybe they bring it as a DLC pack in the future. 4 player competitive co-op on WaW was fantastic.

ive ahd this a couple of times in the early missions as well, and in NHL 11 teh graphics slow when you sue a particular camera angle.

I dont think there's any excuse for this, developers should be developing based on the console's capacity, this isnt a PC where we can update the video card and RAM.

if the graphics are too sophiosticated that it makes the console chug then tone down the graphics

Wait you can play MP maps against bots? This is one feature ive always wanted. Hopefully two people can play split screen.

But you can only play free for all and team deathmatch from what I've seen.

I quickly got up to an 11 last night in public and had a range of new gametypes available, but even as a 10 (There is an achievement and I guess trophy for ranking to 10 in CT) I can still only see those two game types.

All my friends who quickscope are raging hard. I don't care. Apparently killstreaks aren't as powerful which suits me fine.

I think I'll get it tomorrow.

Campaign mode is taking an epic sh*t on MW2 atm but online I seem to never get more than 4 people playing free for all out of 5 million.

Killstreaks don't count towards getting other killstreaks either

^ Yes, which is awesome, a big kill streak has to be earned, rather than just sicking reward after reward on spawn locations.


I need to get a kill streak of 11. I've been smashed by those f'ing dogs, I want to use them on other people

Had fun last night but kept getting raped by that little RC car!!!

Only at Level 5 but seem to be ranking up quickly. I like the idea of buying perks and add ons for guns.
