Has anybody prestiged on multiplayer yet? I don't really see the point but already I've seen people on level 5 prestige that's just crazy how can you get that far in a month of playing? Some people need sun.

This ballistic knife is pissing me off god damn noob tubers with their garbage.

I haven't played since getting GT5 but yeah, I know people who are 3rd level prestige.

They are the crazy good guys who don't die in a match.

got black ops the other day. Played the campain for 4 hours not realising i had not signed in to my profile so nothing was saved, nor could i save it. Played the campaign for another 4 hrs yesterday on the 2nd highest difficulty, does not seem that hard. Got bored with the campaign and started multiplayer, up tp level 13 now i think. I still have no idea what the secret is to mulitplayer on this game. I struggle to get more than 10 kills with less than double deaths/kills ratio. It's like the other guys are neo from the matrix and dodge my sh*t.

My favourite thing in multiplayer is those remote control cars. It is so damn funny when someone see's your car and tries to run away from it, you chase him down and detonate it. So now i have that equiped after 3 kills rather than the spy plane.

You just need to learn the maps and to know where people generally shoot your from. I used to run around like a mad man...now I just run from cover to cover, kind of like how a real soldier would do. If he had loads of huge guns and an RC car.

Yeah hit the combat training for a bit if you're stuck on the map. Whenever you unlock the AUG that's your gun until you hit level 44 and get the commando. Use Steady Aim as perk 2 and get the pro for that and you'll be sweet.

I prestiged for the second time tonight. Have something like 35 hours play time, which is about an hour a day, so I can easily see how people who play 3+ hours a day could be up past level 5 prestige.

The first dlc has been announced

The map pack will be title “First Strike”, and it will include four new competitive multiplayer maps, as well as one new zombie level. The new competitive maps will feature two levels modeled on sections of the campaign from the Arctic Circle and Hong Kong, as well as two new areas including an ice hockey stadium, and the Berlin Wall.
LINK

Sounds alright the hockey rink should be cool. They better make those zombie maps from WaW a dlc I never owned that game but played it at a friends house and those maps were cool especially the Zombie Swamp map.

Q: Why is it some of the higher ranked opponents seemingly can sprint and fire with dead eye accuracy more often than not? I am assuming they have rapid fire on their gun too which would help.

Cool. Hope you're better than me. I am level 29 and still horrible when I want to go all Rambo. If I am not picking people off, I suck

Some posts by Tonearm, Cupid etc are really helpful. Comes back to set ups and understanding recoil which I am only NOW comprehending.

This is the first COD I have played barring some early edition. NEVER online. I am playing catch up and it's showing. It's all good. Never had this much fun online :D

What settings do you run for movement (is that what it's called?)? I am med (2). The setting I am talking about is the movement of the scope.

Rushing is the way to go. But you have to be sensible about it, ie. not go running in to certain death (like say domination point B on Cracked or Havana). If you keep moving, you should rack up a lot more kills, because you put the enemy on the back foot.

Camping in one spot is a bitch tactic, and will rarely net you any sizeable killstreaks. Plus sitting there zoomed into one spot for 10 minutes must be a really boring way to play the game.

Q: Is your net connection going to impact on your ability online? Kinda obvious answer is yes, though what speeds should I be looking for. On the Central Coast, we run ADSL2.
