There are labels such a "fluffy's" or "positive", then there are labels such as "negative" or "pessimistic".

The "fluffy's" call themselves "true fans" and the "pessimists" call themselves "realists".

The point of all that? f**k knows, but it's funny to watch.

The argument can never possibly be resolved unless we can each admit that we are all "true and passionate" Sharks fans in our own different way.

Talking about how long you've been a fan, or how many grand finals you've been to doesn't give you claim to anything special. You're a Sharks fan.

Talking about being positive and tipping them evey week doesn't give you claim to anything special. You're just a Sharks fan.

I think the labelling of this thread is incorrect because we are all true supporters. I just believe that there is a contingent of whining little school girls here who only seek to talk shyte out of their noses in an attempt to stir the pot. This is achieved by ATTACKING the coach, the club, or particualr players. Its all good and well in small portions, but when every week you here for example that Simmons is shyte when it is a fact that he is not that just f**king dumb. I refer to the great intellects of Spirit of League, Mako and Reefy who combined would have to be the biggest tossers on this planet believing any shyte that comes out of their mouths

Yeahm I worked out on the draw that it may end up something like this

Broncos 40

Eels 36
Cowboys 36
SHARKS 36

Storm 34
Dragons 34

Manly 32
Roosters 32

That is giving us 7 wins from the last 9 games, a big ask but 4 of those wins are counted against the knights and bunnies, no gimmes but they need to win those if they are serious. The final 3 wins I think will come from the tigers at home, storm at home, and manly at home. We also have dragons away which is winable and roosters away ditto.

This would set up a home semi V the storm, a nice prospect.

But its very tight, as you see, we drop more than 2 games, we are in trouble, we drop 3 games and we go to 7th, we drop 4 games and we miss out. its that close.

this is the breakdown :-

9 games left, we must win 7 to finish 4th.
we must win 6 to get into the top 8
we win only 5 or less and I think we miss out on the 8.

I think we either finish 4th, or out of the 8 to be honest, crazy but true.

What scares me most about this is that if he is right then assuming the home teams all win it would mean we play the Dragons in an elimination round for week two.

There was a feeling of redemption after 2002 but it would be best beating the Dragons on the way to winning the first premiership between the two clubs.
