Now the club's plan all becomes quite obvious.

Step 1: Let go of our captain and number one player at a bargain basement price
Step 2: Distract everyone from this by feigning to bring back the most polarising player across the codes
Step 3: Let it simmer for a day
Step 4: Tell everybody that we are in fact not interested in pursuing Folau any further

Focus is taken away from losing more talent and mission is achieved.

Bj would have made it to Step 2 before asking Mary who Cam McInness was.

Still, that’s more that Millward knows.

At least they didn’t sign Packer and Mbye for 800k like we did ( pass the draino).

Apparently Cams knee is held together by string and sticky tape.

Expected to break down sooner rather than later.

League is such a brutal sport. Everything’s a struggle and hatred reigns supreme!

The worst thing about the McInnes tragedy is that he deserves a GF but I would find it hard to cheer him on at the Sharks. If he went to you guys and somehow you miraculously finished inside the 8, I could easily cheer him on to the GF but the Sharks, no thanks.

We've become the waiting room for players who want to go on and have success.

I know we are all hoping for change under Hook but so far we've been even more of a circus than ever before.

I think the footy needs to just start so we can have something useful to gripe about.

CMs position at the Club is now untenable....
How can he possibly play out this year , esp as our 2020 Captain , and the go to guy for all our young players coming through
Things mite start quietly but rest assured as soon as things get a bit tough , the blow torch will be on him,,
Best to cut all ties now.Do a deal with Sharks re player swap and move on.........

player swap might not be that easy as we really need a like for like player which I highly doubt we would get.
Ideally we would target a Brailey, Talakai, Hamlin Uele, Nikora or Rudolph.
In reality we would end up with a Tolman, Dugan, Moylan or Woods.

Do we really elive that CM will spend all his time at Lock for Cronulla..
Courageous player but a light weight who wont last 4 years
much more comfy at 9
Still think Brayley may finish up at Drags for this season
Forget contracts ..They mean nothing these days
Nah.... Brailey is firmly intrenched at the club. His old man is also a big part of the pathways and the younger brother is in Harold Matt’s. Think you’ll find we don’t have an equal swap and McInnis will see out his contract and do it wholeheartedly as well. Probably not as captain though.

There's f**k all chance of Brailey leaving, you can dream but don't get you hopes up. Better chance of DeBelin playing Rd 1.

Besides what's the difference between hooker and lock from a workload perspective? They're both middle players, who will play 80 mins. Probably do less running as your not needing to be at dummy half as much, though I expect he'll jump in from time to time if he's closer than Brailey during play.

Also last year McInnes averaged 51 tackles at Lock and 56 tackles at hooker. So he's doing less work at Lock.

So he wants more money but expecting to do less work for it?

That is the Cronulla way, I guess..

We need running forwards with speed skill and tackle busting size. Cam is a hooker not what we want as a lock or running forward IMO.
