in the post game washup.

Wayne Bennet, for the first time in his career celebrated.
ironically too early.

Cam Smith will be nervous.

the Broncs will rue not taking free points.

very intense game. not sure if we can lift to that after a soft game and a week off.

And finally.

Billy Slater. not only an attacking weapon. but he makes more saves than Mark Shwarzer.
if he's within striking distance of you when your at the try line...he seems to stop everybody. he would stop peter peters at full pace heading for a buffet.

he is ridiculous. and must be stopped.

He's also a grubby little merkin. Never far away from the stinks, causes a good deal of them and lays in the shyte in tackles regularly. He's no better than Smith for in tackle incidents.

This match was a fair bash up on both sides.

Injuries to Hoffman and Inglis were shown up and made worse. Folau looks wounded as well and I doubt Johnson is anywhere near 100%.

It's there for the taking next Friday.

Smith AND Blair should both be cited and suspended. Hope a few commentators pick up on this and turn the heat up on it between now and Monday.

Times like this its a shame we don't have a Sharks media personality (Loz, Sterlo, Fatty etc). They could come in quite useful at the moment.
Stevo gets on Fox a fair bit

All Storm players will get off.

Bird will be out still.

If we get into the lead Gallen will be sent off for wearing blue.

Such is the NRL atm.

Yeah - it's really hard to see Smith being cited, although he deserves to be. We'll know in a few days I suppose.

And we got Gus and his agendah...

And guys and Mrs Nulla remember quite a few years back there was a club captain rubbed out of a GF by the Judiciary. And at the time he was one of the fairest and best Captains in the game. Crikey he even Captained Australia.

I won't tell you his name, but he had a big bushy moustache and it currently not in the best of health.

Cheers

Ricky should get into every form of media all week on the Storms tackling technique, especially tomorrow and Monday regarding the tackle made by Smith and Smith.
Get some media focus on it and make the NRL judiciary charge them with attacking the head.

Foxsports news is running the story now and it was also run by Vossy on channel nine, so hopefully the NRL will feel that something has to be done.

he attacked the head... it cant be swept under the carpet... if it was paul gallen he would have a case to answer... the points system is set up so that repeat offenders will eventually get penalised for indiscretions (sp) maybe his round 2 tackle where he obtained 93 points was not so bad but poor technique means you get caught out eventually... unfortunately for 1 C Smith its the prelim final... bring them on i cant wait for this...

The Smith tackle was a disgrace. Had Thaiday in a choke hold and wrenched him to the side. It was blatant and he has a case to answer - end of story.

This will be all over the media in the next two days. Sunday Footy Show and The Roast will hammer it. 2GB and 2KY will be into it.

Warren Smith on NRL on Fox last week was all over it. He will harpo on it constantly.

The NRL will come under serious pressure to get this crap out of the game. The Storm have been guilty of it for years and finally other teams are standing up to them.

even if he is charged i bet he will fight it and get off

I think for sure he will fight it if charged.

Suppose he does and loses though and is suspended for 3 or 4 matches, where will that leave him for the World Cup? Don't they normally not like to pick suspended players, and therefore none of those matches will count towards his suspension?

Bigger implications here than just missing a preliminary and possible Grand Final.

it was terrible it should and i say should get the full two weeks he deserves.

and what about brett white's chicken wing in the same tackle on thaiday?

so we'll be up against a storm team that hasn't played this badly in the last 3 years, without csmith, j. smith, crocker and with injury concerns over hoffman, lima and others.

meanwhile we've scored 112 points in the last month and haven't let too many in either.

is this our chance to make the GF or what?:D

He should be suspended but probably won't be - He wasn't overly worried either.
I just hope the board actually has balls and charges him.

I hope you smash them,personally.
