Manly would have to loving this. Somehow flying unnoticed beneath the radar and yet they hold a combined 3-0 advantage over the two teams being talked up as being the premiership contenders...

They've done that for most of the season (flown under the RADAR). hope they get sucked into a jet engine.

The Storm have every right to the be the outright favourites for the title. They have easily been the best team for the last 2 seasons.

Fincky and Smithy are going OK. Parra have the best short kicking game left IMHO, and Finchies FG was brilliant.

melbournes prep isn't good. 2 games of touch and a week off. I'm thinking Saints back in 05. Parra will be at their best.

Whether that's enough I don't know. Melbourne and Manly have been the best sides bar none all season. However, it's not what you do all your so much as what you do in September. Melbourne will have to be at their best to win.

I will say this: The winner will flog Manly/Cowpats/NZ in the GF.

The dogs have lost their last 5 games now.... How many have the Storm dropped?

IMHO, that was one of the worst finals I have EVER watched. Besides that freaky field goal (did he knock that on???) and that Hayne take late in the match, it was absolutely boring.

Did anybody get the final error count?

Sorry champ but the sea beagles are absolutely crap without a penalty count in their favour ! Hopefully we meet u silvertails in the gf so we can wip your behinds senseless !

Alot of people said Eels wouldnt make the 8......wrong.
Alot of people said Warriors would smash Eels....wrong.
Alot of people said Dogs would win tonight......wrong.
Now alot of people think Storm will smash us.......

Going on that i give us a chance.

I can't see them getting past Melbourne. They'll be up against a forward pack that won't be counting on there reputation to win them the game and Melbourne actually have a decent pair of halves and a hooker.

No reputation?

Surely you jest.

Melbourne have become one of the most arrogant sides in the comp, they are all about reputation. If they lose next week to parra, it will be still talked about in 3007 as the biggest capitulation in the game.

Melbourne have a massive reputation now and expectation is gradually becoming the mammoth shoulder of burden, if they dont win it this year, this side will never win it.

The pressure is all on them. if parra can hold onto the ball, they will win, plain and simple.

That sounds like a lock to me!

Seriously though, how can Eels fans feel heartened by that performance? They played mildly better than a team who played as badly as I've seen anyone play in a semi, in a game that was more boring than the '98 grand final.

LMAO all this coming from a manly fan is a bit rich!

I can understand though, you are trying to keep your mind off next week where you will be heartbroken again.

Souths/Manly was as boring as batsh*t. Orford got that bullsh*t penalty and Souths gave up.

You have to love the ego's. The Storm will hand it to them next week. A few weeks ago there was almost nothing for the Storm to play for and they still won.
