The make up of the souths team means he doesn't have to run it that much. His job is to guide and distribute to the attacking weapons. Kicks them around the park and gets them into positions where GI and Sutton can run amok. Such composure and obviously a very very good footy brain on him.

He'll develop a running game but at the moment you could easily make the case that he doesn't require it just yet.

I've been a big critic of Sutton in the past but the way Maguire is using him is devastating. He is breaking tackles at will, players can't seem to get a hand on him as he runs the ball.

He is no Thurston, because Thurston is more well rounded. Based purely on running the ball, Sutton is unmatched right now.
