In all seriousness was hoping Brisbane missed out. Cheer on your dragons now lads we'll win this thing.

I don’t mind Saints. It’s pretty funny how some of their supporters still haven’t gotten over us beating them in 2005 though. Case in point above

Yep. Couldn't have had a better start to the year then pooped ourselves during the middle. If it wasnt for our okay last 2 months we would probably be looking at the spoon

It’s like that most years though. We play awesome for a period, then bad, then usually very bad, then come good with about 8 rounds to go to fall in a hole somewhere along that road home to September.

We were the best team. Enjoy your extended off season.

Technically the weakest comp in the nrl era since there was only 15 teams competing for the premiership that year.

Dragons fans are usually good sports but you're a merkin

Btw should've got a penalty when Lote got kneed in the back in that prelim. Lucky the Dragons were the NRLs pet that year and got every 50/50.

That incident & the fact the refs didn’t give us an obvious penalty (should’ve given Bennett’s chief thug J.Smith 10 in the bin) summed up the massive advantage saints experienced over us re the appalling refereeing in that magnificent prelim final which we were extremely unlucky to lose.

Additionally Benji & RF’s ordinary kicking games compared to sowards was what I thought eventually cost us.

Arguably the greatest albeit bittersweet knockout match I’ve been to.

Thats what happens when you're up against the fairytale team of the comp. They were nearly more favored than Souffs in 2014

Nothing beats Benji running rings around Gasiner in that 05 semi though. Shit was cash

2010 will always be a cheap Premiership. Taking the best side of the decade out gave it about as much as relevance a 9s Tournament win IMO.

They didn’t have to contend with Smith, Cronk, Slater and Inglis, the only Premiers since 2003 who got that privilege. The one time they played the Storm that year they got spanked.

Kogarah crowd shots....could you find a collection of more pasty ..homely looking deadshits anywhere in the sporting world?....they should give free Vitamin E shots as they walk in through the gate.
