Can you sell an original Xbox console + games?

I'm moving house and want to get rid of all the old stuff I don't need anymore. I've got an original Xbox console with about 20 games, can you take that into a Game or JB Hifi type place and sell it? I tried putting an ad on gumtree but the one bloke that contacted me never ended up showing up.

Personally I don't like your chances of going to a JB Hi Fi or an EB kind of place, too many used Xbox 360's to compete against. Maybe give them a ring first and suss it out

If you are happy to get rid of it all without worrying about a certain price maybe try a pawn shop?

Not in Sydney unfortunately, I came down here for work and brought it with me initially. Now I'm heading back to QLD and don't want to take anything I don't have to. I'd happily take $50 for the lot to be honest, I just wanna get rid of it.

The Gamesmen will give you $15 if it is working condition.

I'm not sure whether Game or EB actually trade for money they usually only offer store credit so they might be your only store option unless there is a small business shop somewhere. Ask a pawn shop if you want a better price or take it in to the Gamesmen if you're only worried about offloading it.

Mate i sold mine on gumtree for $50 (i think) had about 30 games... the whole kit... done for a guy who has his young son stay with him on weekends only...

you should get $50 for it.... no more though.
