They did it at Gosford as well. Cringe worthy.

Not as cringe worthy as when they go through the Souths team on the Big Screen and all the players put their hands together and make some gimpy lightening though. Even the Coach did it. Could you imagine a Bennett, Bellamy or Hasler being told to do something so lame? "Get f**ked" would be the common response I'd imagine.

Bellamy would get them to film him giving his team a spray in the box...the spit would distinguish any lightning.

Yeh, I mean if it's a ground announcer shouting 'come on Rabbitohs fans' to get everyone fired up then I sort of understand it but this was literally every two minutes a pre-recorded chant came over the sound system.

It's just a little cringe worthy and probably just as much for Souths fans.

Seriously, a record breaking crowd and Souffs indulge in the most cringe-worthy attempt to manufacture an atmosphere since every time I've been to Parra.

Not only pre-recorded crowd chants but a f**king microphone in the Burrow amplifying their toofless, incoherent dribbling and sooking.

Yeah. That's been pissing me off too. Someone should tell Souffs they play rugby league and not basketball.

Yep, absolutely embarrassing. The microphones in the burrow are the biggest joke, trying to trick the TV audience into thinking the whole stadium is chanting when in actual fact it's all just manufactured.

The centrepiece for me though was the giant "SCUM: forever in our shadow" that was clearly printed by the club. Too massive and professional looking to have been organised by a couple toothless burrow members on their own.
