Capewell - Nikora

With potential of Lewis retiring end of year and Flanno does like Bakuya off the bench.

The right side back row position becomes up for grabs,to me Capewell has not improved since 2016, i thought he would really become a stand out player, but 2 years later he seems to slip over on each run, he takes seem to have no balance, dosent run the right lines n attack as well.

I have watched a few Jets games this year and Nikora plays that right side, i know a different level, but Nikora looks the goods, runs the right lines can pass as well, and backs up when breaks are made, he was given time in the trials this year and played well.

Its his first year in Jets but is improving, i can see in 2019 him Nikora being the right side backrower option, and Capewell going further down the list

Agree here. Nikora looks the goods for next one through. Though to do it right for more than a few games is harder than it looks.

None of us have a clue on what instructions Capewell has from game to game.
For mine, he looks 100% playing to instruction. he runs to what Gal refers to as points, even if opportunities exist the other way. He gets to ground quick & makes quick play the balls. He defends very well & has a great scramble. Can play 80.
IMO he is streets ahead of Sorenson & like a man against a boy with Nikora. Nikora may well be good , but he isnt big & not doing much in reggies.

He sure does and most of the time he does it without a hand being laid on him

some of these guys at least deserve a crack.
the coach will no doubt get someone on the brink of super league, push these guys down the pecking order and then they will leave and we will see them playing SOO in a few years for other clubs.

why not take a punt. could give us an opportunity to save on cap and spend that money elsewhere like getting Ben barba back.
