BREAKING NEWS: Todd Carney's party is over - the Cronulla Sharks will sign the wayward footy star to a two-year contract today.

The $700,000 deal was finalized this morning after weeks of negotiations following his departure from the Sydney Roosters.

It's one of the most significant signings in the club's history.
