Cartwright - Do the honourable thing

I really feel sorry for the players who busted their arses last night ( in fact should have one) only to have knuckle head Cartwright continue to play nuffies like Rankin who single handedly (again) gifted the game to the Tigers and O'Dwyer who has absolutely no impact on a game.

The players must only shake their heads in disbelief when Cartwright announces the team each week.

Sorry mate but I lay the blame for that loss squarely on the fat arse of Idris ... he was woeful and should go back to QCup for a wake up call ... poor reads, no tackles, bombed try and the final insult ... the unnecesary pass that gifted Tigers position when the game was won.

Rankin made mistakes but at least he was having a go.

I'll be honest, as a Tigers fan, Titans were the best team all night. We got nearly all the 50/50 calls fall our way. Given you had both halves out, the team structure was far more solid than the Tigers.

Idris is the poorest and slowest mover laterally I've ever seen. Ayshford has a big step, but he only used a small shuffle-like step to get around Idris who was very quickly put out of position.

Ayshford isn't fast either, but his few steps to get round Idris showed just how slow Idris is.

Idris did show some ability with ball in hand a few times which surprised me.

Maybe he'd be better as a Lock?

Idris was woeful but Rankin cost the titans the game last night.

Rankin was the one that with only the full back to beat and 2 players out side of him decided to be a hero and kick the ball and stuff it up instead of drawing and passing to his support. This would have the put the titans to 20 nil and the game won. Rankin was the one who dropped 2 sitters of passes, one of which led to the field goal by the Tigers. Rankin was the one who had 2 charged downs with his kicks, one of which directly led to the penalty which the Tigers got to draw level at the end of the game. Rankin might have tried to have a go but he got caught in possession more times than he passed the ball because he is a ball hog when he should be setting up his support.

Yes Idris is a overweight, out of condition party boy who let in a simple try but Rankin directly cost the Titans game last night, which they deserved to win, with his costly errors and selfish play. He has had plenty of chances but is just not up to first grade standard.

We are the only the team in the comp that looks bad even when we win ... it's not because of lack of effort but our playing structure is woeful.

Cartwright is delusional if he thinks the Titans are close to a win. If it wasn't for an absolute diabolic performance by the Cows with the ball in the first round, the Titans despite spending a fortune on players would be last on the table.

He continues to play clearly not up to first grade standard in Rankin and Michaels who continues to not be able to handle first grade pressure. There was a reason the Broncs got rid of Michaels which was because he couldn't defend. Nothing has changed since he has come to the Titans and now his hands are starting to get worse.

Cartwright, has spent a fortune on players and they are still a rabble they were last year when they won the spoon. Part of the problem is they are not that fit and were struggling from the 50 minute mark last night. This has also been evident in most games this year where they have been clearly outpointed in point scoring in the last 20 minutes. Their defence is diabolical because of the lack of fitness. Don't let a truly inspirational effort from Bull Bailey blind you from the bleeding obvious.

If Cartwright cannot get the team fit and have players playing a NRL standard, do the honourable thing a resign. Otherwise the spoon won't be going anywhere this year.

You are a dead set imbecile.

You only come in here to bag others opinions. Yes they have started to come good in the last 3 weeks and yes we are happy with their improvement.

Prior to the last 3 weeks and the previous year they had been a rabble.

No go back under your rock where you belong and get your mum's permission to come out next time.
