Your suggesting we can have him on a massive deal, under performer that he is, then find some other top line forwards, who will most definitely need to play better then him, in regards to bending the line, gaining many more metres, able offload to support players, and tackle relentlessly, but on considerable less money, who will then look up to him and feel that they are cared for and valued by the club and eventually they will win a premiership together.

Now I don't think so Slothy, not unless they are all juniors on pittance before they make a real name for themselves, and know that there eventual big payola days will come old chum.

You're completely missing my point Wagin, That's not the job of a front rower anyway. What Im saying is Cayless' perfromances are worth a lot more than simply his amount of hitups and such. Every club needs leaders and experienced players. The respect everyone has for him says it all.

My tactics to lure Dave Taylor, Josh McGuire or Ben Hunt to Parra would be to offer huge bucks to all of them at once, forcing the hand of the Broncos to stretch their budget and hopefully break it. Surely then we can end up with at least one of these kids. It is not to often that three top young players in positions we need vitally, come through all at the same club so we can leverage like this. The Broncos are stretched as it is, we need to be smart, and we may come away a winner.

No they are not. Not $400000 worth anyway. If he ran out there and played with a mask on, so as you didn't know who he was, I bet you wouldn't rate him at all. And if you were then pressed to value him, I would be stunned if you were to offer him more then $150-170000 per season, based on his last 30 odd games.

I was booing the Raiders being offside, and Campese getting his players to slow down and get time off, every time that they had to go to a scrum, whilst their player was in the sin bin. Watch the replay, and you can see him telling them to call time off. Time wasting, trying to give them a rest.
Campese is good, actually I have him in my fantasy team - but going up to the opposing team and taunting them , like he did to the boys on Saturday night, he is looking to be smashed by someone. Nobody likes a smart ass....
