CC winners. Who actually deserved it? Who should have won it?

1987 Kevin Ward should have got it from Lyons

2009 should have gone to Cooper Cronk hands down. Slater was only chosen cos he was the big name that whole year. Billy even said in his speech Cronk should have gotten it.

would a "fans award" for the GF have any merit? they can still hand out the CC decided by the dinosaurs, but maybe some sort of voting award for the fans best would be interesting. given how many of us are disputing some of these recipients it'd be interesting what the greater general public might think

Sisa Waqa is still my MOTM for the 2012 Grand Final. Made the whole Dogs backline look like chumps, and shut down everything they threw.

Priddis had a hand in all 3 Panthers tries in the '03 GF (scored one and thre the final pass in both of Rooney's). I'm sure that wasn't the only reason, but it was deserved all the same.

Taylor had a blinder in 86, as did the bookends. However Sterlo has to be the CC medal winner with the most cred, along with Lyons the year after and IMHO DCE this year.
